BMW M5 Highs & Lows

Audi RS7 Highs & Lows
- Top-notch monstrous appearance, improved performance, and the benefit of having more storage area being a hatchback.
- Very expensive and a less appealing interior than the M5.
BMW M5 2021 Performance
A beastly twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 engine with 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque is offered in the 2021 M5. The M5 Competition offers a better engine that adds an additional 17 horses in the stable. The M5 competition goes from 0-60 in an ( estimated time ) of 2.9 seconds and the top speed is 155 mph and can be upgraded to 199 mph by M Competition package. It offers an 8-speed “M Steptronic” automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive. The M5 is very fun to drive and has excellent handling and steering response, and it is very good in corners as well. You can also select the Comfort driving mode that can make the cockpit quiet if you want to feel the luxury of the car.
Audi RS7 Performance
The four-door sports car offers a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 which connects with a 48-volt hybrid system, eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. It makes 591 horses and 590 lb-ft of torque, which helps it go from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. It has a top speed of 190 mph. It also has air suspension with adaptive settings for the comfortable ride. The 21-inch wheels can also be changed with the 22-inch wheels. Other features include rear-wheel steering and ceramic brakes for improved agility and enhanced stopping power.
BMW M5 Competition 2021 Interior
The interior of the 2021 M5 feels very premium and sporty. The driving position of the seat is also very sporty and performance-based. The interior is leather and the lighting is customizable in the M5. Some additional features include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a power-adjustable steering column, ventilated front seats with massage functions, heated rear seats, and four-zone automatic climate control.
There’s a large 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen display in the center console that runs BMW’s latest iDrive infotainment software, the display can also be controlled via a rotary knob. The system offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. a 16-speaker, 600-watt Harman/Kardon audio system is standard but you can upgrade it to a 16-speaker, 1400-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system. Wireless device charging is also available in all the models.
Audi RS7 Interior
The RS7 shares its interior space and designs with the regular A7 but it has some unique details and interesting options. The interior shares high-quality materials that can be easily noticed. The sporty seats have great leather upholstery but can be changed with upgraded leather and ventilated cushions. Its back seat can fit two or three people, depending on the chosen seat configuration, and its cargo area offers 19 cubic feet of space with the rear seats in use and 49 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.
It has two touchscreens that control the infotainment system and blend into the upper dashboard and center console. Audi hasn’t released the full list of standard and optional features yet but they will obviously offer Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a mobile hotspot as found on other 2021 models.
BMW M5 Fuel Economy
The M5 will offer an estimated fuel economy of 14 mpg in the city, 21 mpg on the highway, and 17 mpg combined.
Audi RS7 Fuel Economy
The RS7 is expected to offer a better fuel economy due to the smaller engine. The estimated figures are 14 mpg in the city, 24 mpg on the highway, and 19 mpg combined.
Both cars are almost equally aggressive but the mighty M5 offers better power and interiors. So clearly, the M5 is our choice. That doesn’t mean that the RS7 is not intriguing, it also offers very quick acceleration and the versatility of a hatchback. Both Audi & BMW have done a wonderful job by making these monstrous machines that make otherworldly sounds. These cars are not only all about their speed as both the cars certainly did not compromise on the comfort and richness of the cabin.
