2021 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Engine & Performance
We can never talk enough about the beastly engine that this machine carries as the base model makes 717 horsepower, the RedEye version makes 797 horses, and the top model namely the Super Stock makes 807 horsepower!!. The Super Stock model is the detuned version of the SRT-Demon which is the champion of drag racing. There is an optional eight-speed-automatic transmission available in the lineup and the drag racing equipment is all available in the Super Stock model. The Challenger SRT is a true beast as the engine sounds that it makes will give you goosebumps. Its handling and steering response is also very controlled. The breaking is also very quick and controlled because of the all-aluminum Brembo brake calipers.
Models
There are five models which are going to be launched this year. Dodge says that the lineup will be available at the dealerships at the end of the year. The lineup includes:
- Base
- Widebody
- Redeye
- Redeye Widebody
- SuperStock
Interior
The interior of the car is driver-centric and there are basic features in the car such as the leather finery, unique badging and gauge colors, and heated and ventilated front seats. The cargo space is quite nice and the interior is very roomy. The infotainment system includes a standard 8.4-inch touchscreen that offers navigation, a stereo system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Fuel Efficiency
The fuel economy of the Challenger is neither revealed by Dodge nor by the EPA but we’re pretty sure that there will not be any major changes since the last year’s models.
Safety & Driver Assistance
The Dodge Challenger 2021 hasn’t been crash-tested yet by the authorities but there are many driver assistance features that are available in the lineup such as the:
- Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert
- Forward-collision warning
