2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Review: The 2021 Charger is a very exquisitely designed car from the outside and carries an antagonistic 797 hp engine under its hood. It comes in a fresh widebody design that looks so staggering. The steering doesn’t give great feedback but it’ll do the job. Thanks to the 6.2-liter Hellcat engine, the base model produces an astonishing 717 hp. The car is very controlled and grippy around the corners.

It is a very piquant car for long road trips and does the job of a drag racing sports car as well. This year Dodge has added horsepower to the Charger. The base model makes 717 horsepower which is 10 ponies more than the last year’s model. The Redeye model has inheritied some of its partsfrom the Dodge Demon and has 797 horses under its hood.

2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Engine & Performance

No words can describe the Hellcat’s 6.2-liter V8 engine’s power. It produces 717 horsepower now with 650 lb-ft of torque, and these numbers are just of the base model, the Redeye model is the jacked-up version of the base model and produces 797 horses and 707 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends all the power to the rear wheels.

The widebody of the Charger helps it to stay very controlled around the corners, the wide tires also play an important role in gripping. Dodge also states that it will demolish a quarter-mile drag strip in just 10.6 seconds at 129 mph.
