The BMW Z4 has just been redesigned last year and it just looks absolutely stunning. It is no longer offered as a coupe and is only available as a convertible. It is offered in standard rear-wheel-drive. Its very sporty look matches its performance in all the aspects. A new incredible M model has been added to the lineup which offers a six-cylinder engine while the base model offers a four-cylinder engine.

BMW Z4 2020 Performance

The base model offers a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 255 horsepower and the 382-hp twin-turbocharged inline-six engine is offered in the top model. An eight-speed automatic is offered with sports mode and manual mode as well. The all-new paddle shifters are also added in the 2020 lineup. The base model has a 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds and the top model does the same in 3.8 seconds. The gear shifting is also very smooth in the car and has very agile handling.

The interior of the Z4 is quite impressive and the best in its class. Premium materials are offered in the car and all the latest techs are available in the car. The seats of the car are also very adjustable and comfortable. The driver and passenger space are also very nice. The cloth roof folds in seconds after pushing the button. The interior storage of the car is also very nice and impressive.

A 10.25-inch infotainment system display is available in the center console of the car that offers navigation and Apple Carplay integration. BMW’s iDrive system is very easy to use. The system can also be controlled intuitively with a knob and buttons on the Z4’s console or with voice commands. Bluetooth and USB port steaming are standard and SiriusXM satellite radio, Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless charging, a head-up display, and heated seats are optional in the car as the additional package.

Fuel Economy

The 2020 BMW Z4 is one of the most fuel-efficient sports cars out there. The sDrive30i model offers 25 miles-per-gallon in the city and 32 miles-per-gallon on the highway.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The BMW Z4 hasn’t been crash-tested yet but it has all the latest driver assistance features that include forward-collision warning, daytime pedestrian detection with city braking which are standard. The optional features include active cruise control, active blind-spot detection, rear-collision protection, and rear cross-traffic alert.
