Mercedes-AMG G63 2020 Review: Alright in today’s post I will show you my full review of the 2020 Mercedes-AMG G63.
The all-new G63 AMG by Mercedes offers an all-new interior and the famous old skool look. It has got its much needed modernized interior and all the latest techs we were eagerly waiting for. For the very first time, an off-road package is available on the AMG-tuned G-Wagon. The optional AMG Trail package makes the 2020 Mercedes-AMG G63 equipped with all-terrain tires (sized 275/50R-20 just like the standard all-season tires), matte-black wheels, revised suspension damping, a gloss-black front skid plate, rear mud flaps, and all-weather floor mats. The standard equipment that is offered by Mercedes is 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension damping, a front brush guard, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and three-zone climate control.

Mercedes-AMG G63 2020 Performance
The 2020 Mercedes-AMG G63 offers a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine that makes 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic gearbox with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters gives all that power to the all-wheel-drive system. Low-range gearing (2.93:1 reduction) is available as are three locking differentials, allowing the G63 to scale steep dirt grades very easily.

Mercedes-AMG G63 2020 Interior
Although the cabin will feel familiar if you’ve ever set foot in an older G-Class, this is now a very modern place, it offers a 12.0-inch digital instrument panel, high-quality materials, and conveniences such as cupholders and a surround-view camera system. Six-footers will find plenty of head- and legroom in both the front and rear. But there’s still no power liftgate on the G-class, it has a full-size spare tire mounted on the back. With the rear seats up, you’ll have 38 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding them down (60/40 split) provides nearly 69 cubic feet.
It has a 12.0-inch infotainment system that offers Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and navigation as well. There are two USB ports up front and an SD card reader. Also included is a three-year subscription to Mercedes-Benz’s connected car services, which provides basic features such as remote engine starting and stolen vehicle tracking. Some other additional features include Wi-Fi and a rear entertainment system, which features dual 10.0-inch touchscreens, each of which has its own USB, auxiliary, and HDMI ports.
Safety & Driver Assistance
The AMG G63 doesn’t have as many features as the other manufacturers or by other Merc cars but it still has a bunch of driver assistance features which include a forward-collision system with automated braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
You cannot expect a performance SUV to have great fuel efficiency. The 2020 G63 offers 13 miles-per-gallon in the city roads and 15 miles-per-gallon on the highway.
There’s only one model offered by Merc but a lot of customizations are available. Every Mercedes-AMG G63 comes with 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension damping, a front brush guard, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and three-zone climate control. The starting price tag of $153,495.
The 2020 G63 undoubtedly defines class. It is very luxurious, modern, and futuristic from the inside. It has a very bold and elegant look from the outside. It offers a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine that makes 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, a nine-speed automatic gearbox with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters gives all that power to the all-wheel-drive system. It is one of our personal favorites and it is one of the heaviest SUVs which can do a 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds. The G63 is super luxurious and classy when you sit in the car it makes you feel like the king of the road.
