Porsche Taycan 2020 Review: Alright guys in today’s post I am going to be showing you my full review of the all-new electric-vehicle by Porsche.
Porsche Taycan 2020 is the first all-electric car manufactured by Porsche, and as we all know Porsche has always given a tough competition to the competing car manufacturers and now they have stepped into the Electric Vehicle Industry and now its main competitor is going to be Tesla. So let’s see if the Porsche can beat the other rivals in the Electric Vehicle Industry which have been there for a longer time.

Porsche Taycan 2020 Overview
The Porsche Taycan 2020 is an electric sports sedan that keeps up the name of the company in the Electric Vehicle segment as well. Porsche focused on the performance of the car above all and choosing the interior as the secondary concern. The Porsche Taycan offers an incredible Acceleration, superb Handling, and futuristic design. It is the first production electric vehicle to use a two-speed transmission and an 800-volt electric system the offers Fast Recharging and a Quick Acceleration.
Porsche Taycan 2020 Performance
All the car offers an all-wheel-drive with two electric motors.
The Taycan 4S has 522 Horsepower with a base battery and 563 Horsepower with a bigger battery, Taycan Turbo has 670 Horsepower and The Taycan Turbo S has 750 Horsepower.
All of them give only four short bursts of 2.5 seconds and after that, the output is reduced to save the drivetrain from excess heat.
If you activate the Launch Control Mode the Car will just go off like a rocket challenging all the gas-powered cars.
The Porsche Taycan offers three models namely :
- Taycan 4S
- Taycan Turbo
- Taycan Turbo S
The Porshe Taycan Turbo and Turbo S are the most expensive as they offer the best power and they are the best performing Taycans whilst the Taycan 4S is not as fast as the superior and expensive model it has a better driving range to offer.
The Porsche Taycan 2020 looks very similar to the Porsche 911, from the rear end it has a sleek horizontal tail light that looks connected which gives the Taycan 2020 a futuristic look.
The Taycan 2020 has the same shape as the Porsche 911 and from the front end Taycan offers a completely new Matrix LED Headlights, there are vertical vents on each side upfront. The Porsche Taycan 2020 has 19-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of the design, the Porsche Taycan 2020 looks like 911 but a few changes make it look different.
The Porsche Taycan 2020 offers a lot of high-end Technology including Air Suspension, Climate control and it has very good sound isolation. The Taycan has a pretty decent amount of storage at the back as well as in the front.
The Porsche Taycan 2020 is undoubtedly the best sounding Electric Vehicle in the whole entire Electric Vehicle Industry.
The interior of the car is very spacious and a six-footer can fit easily in both front and back seats of the car. The Taycan offers Sirius XM, Bluetooth connectivity, and Apple Carplay. The main infotainment area includes three screens which include a curved glass instrument panel, the main infotainment touchscreen, and a secondary touchscreen that controls climate functions and the optional passenger display adds the fourth pane of glass in the dash on the right side of the car.
The Porsche Taycan 2020 offers three models including the 4S, the Turbo and the Turbo S. The Starting Price of the car is $105,150 and that is the cost of the Taycan 4S, the price of Turbo is $152,250 and the price of the top-end Variant of the series, the Turbo S has a price of $186,350.
The Porsche Taycan 2020 is a new step for Porsche as the Taycan 2020 is their first electric car. The Taycan is a very sleek looking car but a beast by its heart like all the Porsche. The Porsche Taycan is a very practical car and a new benchmark in the Electric Automobile Industry as it has proven that it can go for long drives and is not just for city driving as its battery life is amazing and the speed at Taycan charges is pretty fast. The Porsche Taycan is the first electric vehicle to be built on an 800-volt electrical architecture. This design allows Porsche to offer more powerful 270-kilowatt charging that can recharge the battery from five to 80 percent in 22.5 minutes. The Taycan Turbo can do 280 miles in a full charge and The Taycan Turbo S can do 256 miles in a full battery.
