For the very first time, BMW has launched its 3 Series Gran Limousine model in India and it makes India the first right-hand-drive market to get a long-wheelbase version aka the Gran Limousine version of the 3 Series. It was launched on 21st January 2021 in India and here are some key updates about the launch:
- The Gran Limousine model has replaced the 320d model and it is the only option if you want to buy a diesel-engined 3 Series.
- The Gran Limousine model has a 110mm longer wheelbase than the regular 3 Series and is 120mm longer than it as well.
- The price of the all-new 2021 BMW 3 Series starts at 42.6 lacs (ex-showroom) and the Gran limousine model is priced at 47.9 lacs (ex-showroom).
About 2021 Audi A4
Audi A4 has been launched in the Indian market after a whole year as the last model of the A4 i.e. 2019 model was discontinued around 2-3 months after its launch due to the BS6 regulations. This year Audi has discontinued the diesel models and introduced a new powertrain that follows the BS6 norms. This is year is very special for Audi as it marks the start of their product offensive strategy, which mainly means that Saudi will launch a new car or model every month in 2021.
A4 Vs 3-Series Powertrain Comparison
The 2021 Audi A4 offers a 2.0-litre TFSI engine that produces 190hp and 320Nm of torque and it’s way better than the 2019 trim as it offered only a 150hp 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine.
It goes from 0-100kmph in around 7.5 seconds and all the power is delivered by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The steering response of the car is also great and it is a very smooth car to drive.
The 330i offers a 258hp – 400Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine which is hooked up with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and the Gran Limousine model is powered by a 190hp – 400Nm 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine which is also linked to the 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The BMW M340i will be powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six engine that will create 374 hp and 500 Nm of torque and all of this power will be delivered to all four wheels by an 8-speed-automatic transmission.

For the 2021 model year, the A4 now comes with 13 horsepower more, thanks to a new 12-volt mild-hybrid system. Other major updates include standard wireless Apple CarPlay and lane departure warning systems. The mid-level variant adds adaptive cruise control and some additional safety equipment while the top variant now gets standard heated rear seats. The A4 45 TFSI can also be equipped with a new Black Optic package with either 18-inch wheels/all-season tires or 19-inch wheels/summer tires.
The features available include a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen with BMW‘s iDrive infotainment system, interior mood lighting, LED headlights and taillights, multi-zone climate control, 14-way power-adjustable front seats, and so much more.

The New Audi A4 is introduced at Rs. 42.34 lacs (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs. 46.67 lacs (ex-showroom).
The price of the 2021 BMW 3 Series starts from 42.6 lacs (ex-showroom) for the 330i model, 47.9 lacs (ex-showroom) for the Gran Limousine Model and goes all the way up to Rs 62.90 lacs (ex-showroom) for the top-spec M340i Model.
