BMW has launched the 2021 M5 Competition in India at the price of Rs. 1.62Cr but it carries over the same engine but the styling is revamped.
2021 BMW M5 Competition Facelift Launched In India
BMW has finally launched the M5 Competiton Facelift in India and there are many designs & feature improvements in this car but the engine remains the same twin-turbo V8.
- It offers the same 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 which produces 625 hp and 750 Nm of torque.
- gets updated suspension and other features.
- Also, gets updated styling and a revised front grille like the 5-Series facelift.
2021 BMW M5 Competition Interior & Exterior
The exterior of the 2021 BMW M5 Competition has been totally revamped and is like the newly launched 5-Series. The major changes include the new shape headlights and LED DRLs, revised front grille, new front bumper, different taillights, new rear bumper, new rear diffuser, and exhaust pipe shape.
The interior changes include a new bigger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with BMW’s latest iDrive system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
Buyers now also have a choice of three different 20-inch alloy wheels as well.
BMW has also updated the chassis of the new M5 Competition and added new shock absorbers for a smoother ride.
The standard kit in the 2021 M5 Competition includes different M drive modes including a track mode, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, adaptive dampers, gesture control, voice assistant, heated and powered sports seats, wireless phone charging, four-zone climate control, 16-speaker Harman & Kardon sound system, hands-free parking assist, and so much more.
Buyers cal also opt for a sunroof, soft-close doors, ventilated front seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, front seats with massage function, 360-degree camera, rear-seat entertainment, and many more additional features to choose from at a premium.

BMW has carried over the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine which puts out identical 625hp and 750Nm of torque like last year.
The 2021 BMW M5 Competition has claimed to have the same 0-100kph time of 3.3 seconds as last year’s model.
The power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2021 BMW M5 Competition is priced at Rs. 1.62Cr (ex-showroom) in India. this price is at a premium of Rs. 7 Lakhs from the previous model.
