After a long peiod of testing and waiting Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo is finally launched and eventually be launched in India as well.
Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo Revealed In International Markets
- The Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo broke all records by putting the fastest lap on Nürburgring being the fastest SUV.
- It is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 which pumps out 640 hp.
- It also has a new tweaked chassis, suspension, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo has broken the lap record on the Nürburgring circuit which was previously held by Audi RS Q8 in 2019 and is more than 3 seconds faster.
GT Turbo: Exterior & Interior
Well, there are many exterior changes in the Cayenne GT Turbo which include a 25mm wider rear spoiler to give an additional downforce of 40kgs, new 22-inch wheels, restyled front to improve the aerodynamics of the car.
Other changes have also been made to improve handling and stability.
The interior is also made to look like a proper performance-based car as it is filled with Alcantara and the new steering wheel also gives a very 911 look.
The seats can are available in either grey or gold stitching and badging of the GT Turbo depending on the buyer’s preference.
It is also the first Cayenne to get Porsche’s new PCM 6.0 communication system, which has better connectivity, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto come standard.
3P’s: Powertrain, Performance & Price
The Cayenne GT Turbo Carries over the same ol’ 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 which is also used in Lamborghini Urus and Audi RS Q8, but makes 640 hp which is 40 hp more than the RS Q8 and 10 hp lesser than the Urus.
Porsche has claimed that the top spec Turbo GT with optional Sport Chrono package will do a 0-100 kph run in just 3.3 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than Urus.
The GT Turbo is fitted with an 8-speed torque-converter gearbox, and it has some new software that will help with the smoother shifting of the gears and decrease the response time.
The price of the Cayenne GT Turbo hasn’t been revealed yet by Porsche and it certainly has not been launched in India but we’re sure that they will because of the rising demand for the performance SUVs like Audi RS Q8 and Lamborghini Urus in India.
